As a momma I completely understand how overwhelming it can be when getting everything together for when your little one arrives and honestly even since having my little boy there are so many products that have come out that I didn’t have and we are only talking three years ago. I wanted to put together a list of my top 5 baby products that are definitely worth buying. I have chosen products that I used with my son that I wouldn’t have been without but also I am including some that many of my clients I have brought with them into the studio. In my line of work you pick up on all these new amazing gadgets that are on the market now so please feel free to save this list or share it with your baby shower guests. I promise you won’t regret it…..
1. Owlet Smart Sock
The Owlet Smart Sock wraps around your baby’s foot to safely and accurately track Baby’s Sleep Quality Indicators, including heart rate, average oxygen level, movement, and wakings. For a mother I cannot recommend this product enough for me I was a very anxious first time mom and at nighttime my anxiety would be sky high but with this device I knew if at any point his oxygen level dropped or he was in distress I could be alerted straight away and honestly this gave me so much comfort and don’t get me wrong I still checked him a million times a night but that’s what mothers do. I can honestly say this very clever technology is a life saver…. LITERALLY!

2. Nuby’s RapidCool portable baby bottle maker
Nuby's RapidCool baby bottle maker is perfectly portable, no filters or fuss and follows NHS guidelines. This is one of the most amazing products for bottle fed babies and can cool down and prep a bottle within 2 minutes I mean that is crazy. This is one of those products that just amazes me every time as I wish this was around when we switched to bottle feeding when my little boy born as it would of resolved some very stressful situations with a very hangry baby.

3. Silver Nursing Cups – Nipple Shields
Nipple silver cups are small cups crafted out of pure 925 silver that fit over and help to protect nipples while breastfeeding. This is a great alternative to creams for cracked and sore nipples as no chemicals transferred to the baby from breastfeeding. You can also use these as preventive measure to avoid irritation cuts, soreness, or cracks that are caused by breastfeeding. Silver nursing cups are again one of those products that I wish I knew about when my son was born. The healing properties of the silver an incredible alternative to the well branded creams out there and I have to say definitely I must have for all your breastfeeding mommas.
4. Nasal Aspirator
In those first few weeks most babies tend to suffer a little bit with the sniffles as their little immune systems are getting used to the outside world. It can be so difficult to know what to give to them in the first 3 months as you have to be so careful on what they can have in terms of medicine like nasal drops and sprays. A nasal aspirator is a device which helps clear your little one's stuffy nose quickly and gently when they're feeling bunged up. It is a tool in which enables you to remove the mucus from your little ones nose without causing them distress and even when they get to toddler age I still use mine every winter.

5. Doona Infant Car seat
Now this is one of the most convenient and clever designs I have seen in a long time. The fact that this car seat doubles as a stroller that you don’t need to assemble is mind blowing. The wheels simply fold back in to the car seat itself I mean how incredible is that, One simple motion operation and it goes from Car Seat to Stroller in seconds. When becoming a new parent the key is convenience so all the products you want to use should make your life easy and this product definitely does that. Also it’s worth mentioning that this car seat meets all the required safety and quality measurements which are enforced in this country so the safety of your little one is no way compromised in this clever design.
